 | | Chilled water cooling interfaces nicely with hot water heating. The use of geothermal or free standing chillers allows both an energy reduction based on greater COP's and also based on the ability to zone and lead / lag equipment. Lead / lagging equipment is also easy to do with a chilled water system. Dehumidification is much easier with the ability to control not only water temperatures, but air flow across the coil with a system that is able to ramp itself up and down proportionally to demand. |
