It is a sad day when a radiator is removed from a house and not replaced. Hot water heating is just the finest heat, but many building and general contractors look to lower the project cost and go either with a heat pump or a furnace as they add air conditioning to the space. Saving the radiator is really not that much more expensive when you look at the overall project budget on a percentage basis by project objective. There are also many new radiator selections that can be made that do not take up as much space, but still provide ample  heating. Radiators in the classic lines are also now available as they were 100 years ago, but new!
